Belief and regret

How’s that?

I like to believe in a lot of things, karma being at the forefront, but believing in something and it being true are two different things. That’s why we need science, and even then, that’s why we need to not only question but also test our beliefs.

I’ve been wrong on multiple occasions. I cringe when I see older stuff I’ve made, but that making was the only way I could get to where I am right now.

Sure I regret the things that make me cringe, but I don’t regret having had the experience. I don’t regret having made the thing or been to the place or done the work. I regret that it wasn’t perfect in the first place, but I know it’s all part and parcel of getting to where I am today. No need to think too deeply about it.

How’s that for belief?
