Bronze medal matches

I’ve been in three of them. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that not reaching the gold medal match makes no difference. If you let the disappointment in not reaching the final take over your emotions, then you’ve already lost.

This is when the mantra of treat it like your last day on earth comes into play. It’ll be a while until your next opportunity, but your next opportunity will come, so why not use the bronze medal match as an opportunity to get you one step closer to that gold medal. The best way to do that? Leave nothing in the tank.
