I didn’t ask for this: Uketamo and go

a person sitting on wooden planks across the lake scenery

‘I didn’t ask for this.’

As if that’s a good excuse to shirk responsibility.

This is Uketamo by stealth. You may not have had an implicit intention for this outcome, but an explicit intention is enough to warrant an unwanted reality.

‘This isn’t what I signed up for.’

It is. Just not implicitly.

My advice? Embrace it. Enjoy it. Have fun with it. It may not be what you originally intended, but it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it. Just don’t deny that you did actually sign up for it, implicitly or not.

Best to Uketamo and go with it.

ENJOYED THIS? HAVE MORE.
