Restarting a (good) habit

photo of a man in a black shirt training for boxing

When you’ve tried to restart a (good) habit so many times, you kinda get good at restarting the habit. It’s a shame that you need to restart it in the first place, but life always has a way of getting in the way.

It helps not to put too much pressure on yourself, and to focus on doing it right rather than fast. There’s no way you’ll be back at your natural pace when you start back, and that’s fine. Slowly but surely you’ll get there. Allow yourself the time and dedication to get back into the habit right.

The important thing is that you’re out there getting dirty, that you’re putting in the hard yards. Life’s too short to sit around in your PJs all day.
