Turn on the light. And keep it on.

We can’t do anything with the dark, but we can turn on the light.

I realise this may contradict the title of this blog, and I’m not sure who said this, but it’s true. It’s an eternal battle, but by labeling it and understanding it exists, and accepting it for what it is, just like anything else that exists, we can choose how we react to it.

Knowledge of its existence means that we also have a responsibility to do everything we can to prevent it. This means looking after yourself physically and mentally.

Turn on the light. And keep it on.
