Actions speaking louder than words

‘I’m thinking of doing this’ and ‘Here, I did this’

Don’t tell me you’re going to do something, do it and tell me you’ve done it. The difference between the two is stark. If you want to impress people, if you want to prove something to yourself, get your A into G and do it. Only then should you tell us about it.
