How do you constantly stay in a state of readiness when there’s so much going on?

You can’t. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. And it doesn’t mean you should make excuses for not doing what you said you would.

As ready as I’ll ever be is as much of an excuse for laziness as it is for action.

I know which one I prefer. Take action, as ready as you are.
