Creativity demands chaos

By definition, creative means something new, meaning something that has never been done before. Therefore, to do the creative we have to leave the comfort of the known and venture into the chaos of the unknown.

Being able to produce something out of the chaos takes real creativity. In other words, creativity demands chaos.

We often hear of creatives and even sports people say they were in the zone, and that’s how they were able to do the remarkable. This zone is obviously not our regular life, if it were we’d all be on a creative frenzy.

I believe to make the most out of this ‘zone’ (which for the record I believe is all in our heads), we have to take to it head on, no hesitation, and no distraction. As the famous Nike slogan says, Just do it.
