Different roles for the same thing
While of course I want everyone to read everything I write when I write something, I accept that this is quite a lofty goal.
I’m currently writing a long form essay on Dewasanzan.com and I have a specific audience in mind, those wanting to learn about Japanese culture, and religion in particular, but I accept that they’re not going to want to read the whole article.
And that’s fine, because the article has a secondary (well, probably primary) goal of bringing the existence of the Dewa Sanzan into their consciousness. At this stage, that’s actually not that easy to do.
That’s one big reason why creating content is so important. In the current age awareness and attention are in short supply. That’s why I feel so privileged to introduce the Dewa Sanzan to people, and it’s what I want to continue doing.
Because I feel that you have something that can benefit the world, it’s your obligation to do it.

I just posted my Mt. Yudono article completing the trifecta of the three Dewa Sanzan peaks. I even did them in the proper order too, starting with Mt. Haguro in May last year, then Mt. Gassan in August, and now Mt. Yudono in February.
