Do it, and do it first!

My friend’s son is a genius. He’s just started a new school where people are assigned roles and he went ahead and volunteered first.

Why is this a genius move?

If you’re the first, your mistakes are more forgivable. Make a mistake when you’ve had the chance to watch people do things rather than doing them yourself and it’s not the same.

If you’re eventually going to have to do something, do it, and do it first! Great lesson.
