Do something you like, or gtfo

I went past where my dad worked today. He passed away four years ago now, but it reminded me of a conversation I had one time when I took him there.

My dad did not like his job. He was just doing it for the paycheck. If you don’t know how long you’ll be on this planet, that’s a risky move. I’d rather prepare in advance and have the option of work than to be in a position where I have to do a job I don’t like.

That’s why I’m trying many different things, to broaden my options and build skills, and it’s why I think you should too.

If you don’t like what you’re doing, gtfo and find something you do. Find the funds to go on a world trip if you don’t know what you like. Just gtfo of that shitty situation.
