Fall in love with the product of the learning

We may not like the act of learning. Sometimes it can feel like a chore to conjugate verbs and learn new vocabulary to a decent level. The same can be said for learning a new skill that takes dexterity and practice.

At that sort of time, focus on the product of the learning, the ability to do something. Push yourself for at least 10 minutes daily, either mentally or physically, and while you’re doing so, focus on what it will feel like to be able to do the skill in question, the product, so to speak.
