If it ain’t broke

light workplace with laptop in office

Japan has an entirely unnecessary relationship with stamping things and doing things on paper, and today it meant I had to physically go to the post office to send something that in the 21st century can be done by email. I know this is just a rant, but I'm not going to shut up until it changes. This is just ridiculous for 2021, and I'm guessing it's because the person in charge is old-fashioned (that's putting it politely).

If something ain't right, don't shut up until it is. If you aren't in a position to make the changes yourself, then the people able to make the change need to know that it's necessary. You could argue that if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but this to me is like purposely choosing to own and ride a horse as opposed to a car. I truly wonder when things will change here.

Rant over.
