Independence, resilience, leadership

Tim Bunting Kiwi Yamabushi at Yamadera in Yamagata Prefecture

Independence: able to support yourself. Able to do get things done. Independence with leadership means you aren’t independent entirely, but that you can lead an independent group too.

Resilience: able to deal with the difficult. Able to move on when things are tough, and able to push forward. Resilience without independence isn’t true resilience. Resilience without leadership isn’t useful.

Leadership: able to lead. Able to find the right mission and the right people to do the right job. Leadership with independence is courage. Leadership without resilience is weakness.

Independence, resilience, leadership. Three important traits for getting things done.
