It all comes down to one thing

Your breath.

Your breath is amazing. It’s the one thing we can control that can also control itself.

Stop and take a moment to be cognizant of your breathing. Is your breathing shallow?

When we feel down, it’s natural for us to slouch. Slouching can escalate and make us feeling even worse.

But the reverse is also true.

Take in a deep breath. Your posture automatically improves, and your mood along with it. Good posture and good breathing is the way to go.

If you’re feeling worked up, you may find that your breathing is out of sync, or has become shallow. This is our brain’s flight or fight instinct working in overdrive when it shouldn’t be.

Take a moment to relax by simply sitting and taking a few long deep breaths, even better if you can do it outside.

Your breath is amazing. It’s what it all comes down to.
