Lessons learnt at Mototaki Falls

I just pieced together my clips from a recent trip to Mototaki. I think I spent too much time on trying to get good shots, rather than on the narrative. So what you see is fine in terms of visuals, but the narrative, and the real attraction of the place, could have been portrayed much better. Next time, I will plan more or less what I will say and the shots I hope to take in advance. I think that's probably the best way to improve the most in the shortest amount of time. To be honest, I was a bit overtaken by the beauty of the place, and I could probably do a better job of portraying that with my voice. Either way, these shots were an experiment and I learned a lot from it already. Probably the biggest lesson would be that film is by no means an easy thing to do well! At least not for me yet.

On a side note, I decided to use the YouTube Studio function to add royalty-free music, but it is a bit too intrusive on the audio. It's best not to use it, or to use it for purely cinematic videos. The other alternative might be to boost the level of noise in the original video before uploading the music, but I'm not sure if that will work.
