On the mountains, as in life

Yamabushi training as a metaphor for life

Yamabushi training is not a walk in the park. Well, it kind of is, but you’re constantly taking orders, you can’t talk back, you don’t know what’s going to happen next, and you have no real way of keeping track of the time, besides night and day.

You simply have to accept everything that happens to you and get on with it.

Just like as in life.
