Passive agreeableness

When you’re high in agreeableness, like I am, you have to watch out for being taken advantage of. I don’t like confrontation, which is probably why I like Japan (the basic aim of living in Japan is to avoid confrontation, I’m serious, it really stifles progress), so I have to try extra hard to get used to it for when it comes.

The thing to do, according to this video, is to say your opinion even if you think it’s harsh, because it’s probably true. This is me to a tee. I don’t always get my say in things, due to my agreeableness meaning I can be rather passive, so when I do say something, I generally make sure I’m ultra confident in it. But even still I don’t say what I’m thinking as much as I could. I think I might consciously try to from now on.
