Robbie the Miniature Daschund

This poor old dog has been through a lot. He's had surgery on his legs after being in an accident, we weren't sure he'd survive, but he has and now he's old enough to be deaf. That hasn't stopped him barking at the old man that lives here.

The funny thing is, he often runs past my wife and straight to me whenever we visit, even though technically he's her dog. I put it down to me often being the one to only play with him, only recently have I had to scold him more, and I even gave him his dinner a few times too, whereas my wife has to punish him more due to him being her dog. I think there's a lesson in there on how to treat people, but you absolutely must take a balanced approach because no scolding leads to very bratty behavior.
