Communication is one of the most important skills for business, and in my role as an assistant professor I am directly involved in developing the communication skills of students aiming to establish and grow their businesses starting with Asia.
Megurun Inc. was established to sustainably
develop the local economy, and is the company behind the Yamabushido Programs. Yamabushido programs are open to all English-speakers to partake in ancient Yamabushi training and other self-development programs on and near the Dewa Sanzan to enhance their ability to sense, and to provide them with the philosophy and strength to be their best.
The Dewa Sanzan, the three mountains of Dewa, has been a prominent feature in the development of the Shonai region for more than 1400 years. The Dewa Sanzan has great potential for sustainable tourism and spiritual excursions that I aim to develop extensively in running this site.
With Tsuruoka City designated a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, bio-tech companies creating a stir on the global stage, and manufacturers in the region looking to expand their business overseas, slowly but surely the Shonai Region is becoming more internationalised, and I’m here to help.
Yamagata Story is an NPO aimed at revitalising
the local economy through sustainable means, and supporting those who move here from the outside.
Sakata was chosen as the host for the New Zealand Triathlon Team for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. My role was to co-ordinate between the city and TriNZ to ensure the smoothest ride possible for my compatriots when they compete on the world stage.
