Sharing Dreams (literally)

If something is interesting to you, is it interesting to me? Most likely no. (I should probably tell my wife this, but) Dreams are a good example. They seem interesting to you, but who likes to hear the dreams of other people? Besides maybe fortune tellers, no-one!

I'm not a fortune teller, nor do I want to be one, but the underlying point here is that when you're trying to get someone on board with an idea, don't focus on your own attributes, focus on what the other person wants to hear. <a job made easier by making something that the other person wants to hear (Purple Cow).

Thanks to Lucian from Zen7 for the ideas in this post.
