Tactics up your sleeve

Tim Bunting AKA Kiwi Yamabushi on Zao-san

And the newcomer perspective

Tactics up your sleeve come from experience. Experience comes from doing. The more you’ve done, the more tactics you have at your disposal.

However, at the same time newcomers come who have a completely different perspective. They know what needs to be done, but they don’t need to follow the rules of old. They understand the rules of old are good for general guidance, but they aren’t always the best way forward.

By definition, we move forward through innovation. That is why we should always strive to have the newcomer perspective.
