Open yourself up to the potential

To open yourself up for criticism is to open yourself up for learning. To open yourself up for growth is to open yourself up for suffering.

There is always some cost to learning, and some cost to growth. But what you’ll learn, and how you’ll grow far outstretches the costs.

You can’t have the best of both worlds. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try.
