The driving force

accomplishment action adult adventure

They say that you should follow your heart, follow your interests, do what you love.

I wholeheartedly agree.

There is a driving force within us that pushes us onwards, a driving force that compels us to do something. This driving force comes from our souls, and to deny that would be tantamount to suicide.

However, I feel there is a disconnect between doing what you love and exclusively doing what you love.

While at the moment we may not be able to exclusively do what our souls are telling us, we can at least take steps so that we can, or we can at least make an effort to do it more often. Although ideal, we don’t have to exclusively do it.

That’s where the power lies, that’s the driving force, that’s what we should be doing.
