The opportunity to learn

student with documents and laptop happy about getting into university

We all have to do things we don’t enjoy, to meet people we may not like, or to try something we know we won’t enjoy every once in a while. But if you go into the experience thinking it’s going to be all bad, then you’re missing some prime opportunities for growth.

No matter the situation, or your opinions on it, there’s always something you can learn. There’s always going to be something unfavourable about any given situation, but your job isn’t to focus on that, rather it’s to focus on what you can gain from it. Do so and everything starts to look like the opportunity to learn that it already was.
