The Power of Acceptance

One example where acceptance is key

When I was in high school my bag got stolen. The first thing my dad did after I told him, besides checking whether I was ok, was to call the locksmith. My keys were also in the bag, and with my address on my license (which is why when given the choice you shouldn’t put your address on your license * cough * Japan * cough*), the thief also would have had access to our house.

Accept the situation for what it is, then act, and it can help you from further damage. That’s but one example of the power of acceptance.
