The promise of generosity

Tim Bunting Kiwi Yamabushi

Even though I believe the best way to help others is to help yourself first, so you are then able to help them, this comes with a promise of generosity.

To be generous means to give even when you have none. It means to do things without asking, without expectation of reciprocation. To be generous means to help others, or to offer help even when people don’t know they need it.

When we’re generous, we’re making a promise to other people, showing that we respect them, that we trust them.
