The universe owes you nothing. It has already given you everything. Anything else is a bonus.

If things don’t turn out as you’d hoped they would, remember that the universe owes you nothing. That you being here is thanks to miracle after miracle after miracle, and that if you are still standing, you still have another chance to get it right

We are blessed to even be here. That you are reading these words (and I am writing them) is thanks to miracle after miracle in perpetuity. This moment we have right now is the most precious thing there is, and we need to treat it as such.
