Here. Now. Self.

If you don’t like another person’s demeanor or if they get on your nerves during Yamabushi training, tough. Once you learn to accept that their training is your training, you begin to see things differently. You begin to understand that these are just feelings that any thought given to us a waste of thought.

This makes other participants a good lesson, but it also shows you just shouldn’t care that much when it comes to other people.

Focus on what’s in front of you. Here, now, self.
