Leave it out there. Warts and all. No need to overly self-edit, it just gets in the way of the work. That’s your true self coming to the fore, and it need not be suppressed.

If people don’t like it, they probably wouldn’t have liked it without warts either. If you won’t take advice from them, don’t take criticism from them either.
