What’s the first step?

Start there.

You have a project you’re working on. Only, you’re not working on it. Your sitting around with your thumb up your a*s waiting for some divine intervention to do the work for you.

You keep beating around the bush, busying yourself with tasks you know full well won’t get you anywhere closer to completing that project.

Or starting it, for that matter.

The 2,446 stone steps of Mt. Haguro are a hard climb. If you do it all at once, that is. The key to climbing the steps is extremely simple. So simple it just becomes a matter of doing.

Start with the one in front of you. Then take the next. Then the next. Before long, you’ll find yourself at the top.

That’s how projects get completed. By starting with the first step, and pushing on until the last step is done.

Take that first step.
