Why you should prioritise tasks by utility
When you have a whole lot of things you need to do, do what gives you the greatest utility. Do what has the most cascading effects.
This is made even the more truer when that task happens to be a tedious one. We often put off that sort of task, hoping it will somehow do itself. When you do it though, not only do you get the satisfaction of getting through a tedious task, you also have the effects of the utility it provides.
So how about it? Is there something you’ve been putting off simply because it’s a nuisance? Something that could help push things forward? Sometimes you just need to buck it up, dedicate some time to getting it done
Then follow through with it.
