You might be wrong

I’ve been using this one path to get to and from the pool on my bike for a few years now. The other day, I saw an older guy biking in the same direction, but he kept on going straight, and I went over the bridge, as per usual.

Well, about 3 or 4 minutes later, I notice he was just ahead of me. How strange? I thought. I could swear my way was quicker. But obviously I was wrong! I didn’t take into account the traffic light that I always wait at.

That was a bit of a wake up call in the sense that it helps to try alternative routes every once in a while, even when you’re certain or them, because you never know, you might be wrong.
