Bring something to the table

It’s usually much easier to think of ideas when something is already pitched. Say you’re unsure which restaurant to go to or which book to read. If you already have something to compare to, it makes it easier to make a decision. If you like the first idea, that’s great too!

So when you’re in a situation where an idea is necessary, bring something, anything, to the table. Suggest a restaurant or two, and that way you’ll have something to work with from the offset.
