Constraint Setting

black and white dartboard

Just like goal setting, setting yourself realistic constraints can help you make sure you get the work done. I set myself the target of one video per week, and I have been able to keep that up over the past two or so months. I wrote about it the other day, but if you have a set constraint where it's already decided that you're going to be doing something, a daily blog post, a weekly video, then the decision changes to 'what should I blog about?' or 'what should I make a video about?' That is how constraints can help in you all but guaranteeing the work gets done.

We all know of the benefits of setting goals, but equally as viable, or I guess the two really should go hand in hand, is setting some sort of constraints that guarantee you put something out in the world, which is the true struggle, now made easier.
