Digital detox

man in long sleeve capturing photo

My digital detox of putting the phone down to charge at 6pm hasn’t worked twice this week because I didn’t get my blog post done in time. On these days, you truly do understand the advantages of such restraint.

There really is nothing to gain from having access to your phone at all hours, I realise that now that I have my phone in my hand and I’m attempting to watch a TV show properly, but I still feel compelled to use my phone.

I was thinking that my digital detox could have a weekend, but am now reconsidering my views. It’s probably easier to just go cold turkey from 6pm every day. Similarly, a break from SNS may also be a good idea. That’s the thing that’s really keeping me on I think.
