Embrace the now

uketamo

Shit happens. Big shit, small shit, it happens. You have no control over what happens. You have no control of what happened. The only thing you have control of is the now, and no matter how you got there or where you're going, you have to embrace the now. Sure earlier decisions may have meant you are not where you could have been, and you're also not going where you previously would have wanted to go, but that stuff doesn't matter right now. Embrace the now, don't let regrets from the past or anxiety for the future get in your way. If you do, then future you will regret you having regret in the past or anxiety about the future affecting your experience. That's why it's important to embrace the now.
