Experiences and expectations

It's not what you know before an experience, it's what you get from doing it.

It's better to go into new experiences with as little expectation as possible. Your expectation clouds your judgment of the experience. Preconceptions mean you don't experience the experience for what it is, rather you continuously judge whether it lives up to your expectations.

When you can get your expectations out of the way, you can experience the experience for what it is, for what it should be.
