Fighting Fires

When it comes to fighting fires, co-ordination is key. When a fire breaks out, if it's small enough for the municipality to cover it, then that's fine, let them do their thing. But when the fire gets a bit out of hand, back-up from other fire services is required.

I feel that the local tourism industry is a bit like an uncoordinated response to multiple fires (or in this case, serve international tourists). All these places working to put out small fires, without any regard for what the people around them are doing. We may not need a regional fire service, although it could help, but I feel co-ordination between local "fire" services could be much more beneficial in fighting "fires".
