Go in prepared

Go in ready

If it’s your first time on Yamabushi training, you have no idea what’s going to happen. This means you have to bring everything with you, you have to prepare for anything. Logically, then, if it’s not your first time, and you know what’s gonna happen, then you only need to bring the bare minimum.

On your first go you can be smart about it. and watch the more senior people. However if you’re still learning the ropes, that can be a hard sell. It’s better to over-prepare, than to get things wrong further on down the line. It’s also better to prepare for yourself, because other people, however, senior, make mistakes. And their mistakes become your mistakes.

Go in prepared. Go in ready.
