Go on the offensive

red green and black dartboard

A few years back I was playing my friend in the cricket version of darts. This is a good game, and is indeed similar to the real cricket, where basically you try to get more runs than the other team, which you can do by either being defensive and trying to stop the other team from scoring, or going on the offensive and simply trying to score as many points as is humanly possible.

Well, it just so happened that my friend was wasting me. He had managed to pile on a lot of points all the while keeping me in check. If I was a normal person, I'd probably just give up, but of course you've always got to be thinking about how you can win, and that's exactly what I did. There were still some areas remaining that I could get some points in, and I targeted them like a boss. Unfortunately, in the end it was too little too late and my friend won, but not before almost giving him a heart attack.

If you're still in the game, you can still win. Sometimes it means you have to take risks, but sometimes those risks can seem like less of a risk than giving up. Go on the offensive. You might just win.
