It’s not enough to just have a good idea
It’s not enough to just have a good idea. You have to have the means to share it too. That means you know how to communicate it, and it also means you know how to put it into action. Only then can you rely on the network effect to see your idea spread.
Part of knowing how to communicate an idea means that you have the balls to do so. It can take a lot of courage to face potential ridicule, but the thing is, you don’t know how people will react until you give it to them. The best thing to do is to test the idea with a viable audience, and ask them to spread it if they like it. Even better, do this over and over. Practice getting your ideas out, what’s the worst that could happen?
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hi, I’m Tim Bunting AKA the Kiwi Yamabushi, a New Zealander who became a Yamabushi Ascetic in the Dewa Sanzan mountains of north Japan. I’m part of the Yamabushido team, and we host life-altering Yamabushi training on the Dewa Sanzan (website link). People come to us for the ultimate mindfulness experience, to reach the next level, or simply connect with nature and themselves.
I’m on a mission to summit all 100 Famous Mountains of Yamagata Prefecture to spread the splendour of this fabulous location, and in dedication to all those who lost their lives out in nature, including my father.
On my daily blog I post thoughts of a practicing Yamabushi that I hope people can use to better themselves and live as fulfilling a life as possible.
