Just breathe

Breathing is such a fundamental function for us that we are hardly conscious of it most of the time. Whenever we feel any stress, it helps to go back to that fundamental function, this time consciously.

When you are feeling overwhelmed, pause for a second and take 10 deep breaths. This will help you calm your mind, and think rationally.

When we take in a deep breath, our lungs fill up, and our posture corrects. This simple task has unbelievable effects on our psyche, and can give us confidence where before there was none.

Make conscious breathing a part of your daily life and you can reduce your stress levels immensely.
