Just don’t burn it: A lesson from Apples

Today I did a bit of baking with the leftover bag of apples we had. For the first time ever I made Apple Oat Loaf, and I also made a reiteration of the apple shortcake squares, which weren’t square because we don’t have a square tin. Still taste great. The apple shortcake squares were also because we had just enough apples left over for it.

It’s interesting to try something new with something you’ve made before, and to also iterate as well. While you try your best at each, you get to experiment to see what works and what doesn’t. What works is delicious, and what doesn’t work teaches you a lesson, but is still delicious (unless you burn it).
