Keep the scoreboard ticking over

Maintaining that all important momentum

There is a certain point within any project where you simply either don’t feel like putting in the effort, or your circumstances don’t allow you to.

For now, at least.

This is prime resistance territory. This is your mind working against you to stem the flow of output.

Don’t let it.

At times, simply doing the bare minimum is enough. If anything, the bare minimum puts you in the all-important state of mind of ‘here, I did this’. The state of mind necessary to get through to the next part of the project. It may not be your best work (it might be, though?), and at least you can live to fight another day.

Keep the scoreboard ticking over.

Don’t let the resistance get the better of you.

Maintain momentum.

Stay in the game.

Be back bolder than ever when the next chance arises. Because it always arises.
