Learning chants in one day

I learned something I didn't want to learn today. For Yamabushi training, I was tasked with leading the group for the first time today. This was bestowed upon me suddenly yesterday. Now, to be able to do this, I had to memorize one chant in less than a day. And you know what? I was able to do so. That's what I learned that I didn't want to learn, cos it means that I now know when forced (or highly encouraged) I can remember things in a short space of time if necessary.

Well, this particular chant was easier to remember because I had heard it at a guess around 100 times, only I had the shorter version, so there's that, but now I know that I can do this, it kinda means I have to in other things, there are still more chants for me to learn!

ENJOYED THIS? HAVE MORE.
