Let ‘em soar

Tim Bunting Kiwi Yamabushi

‘You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink’, is only half true. If you make the horse thirsty beforehand, in a way, you have made them drink.

It’s true that whether someone learns, grows, or succeeds, or not, is entirely dependent on them. All we can do is prepare the right environment for them to have every chance of this.

But when you realise this, you realise that it’s possible to do this to yourself too. It’s possible to give yourself every chance of success, not by forcing yourself to do things, but by building the right environment for yourself to soar.

Whether you drink or not is up to you, but if you make yourself thirsty beforehand, you give yourself every chance of drinking the water.
