Patience

colorful puzzle pieces with scrabble tiles

Patience is a virtue. I think that is true. People really respect you when you are patient, and they reciprocate by being patient back. I’d rather someone give me the time I need to do something than have someone put pressure on me which in turn just makes things take much longer, and may not be the best quality either.

The problem with patience is when people try to take advantage of you. It can be hard to get them to stop, and sometimes it can be hard to know when they’ve gone too far. You have to be careful and stern in your words, and it helps to have set boundaries so that you can react when necessary.

Patience is a virtue, but never take advantage of it because it won’t reciprocate.
