Recession proof

So I learned from a podcast the other day that weddings are for the most part recession proof (it was the knot on NPR's how I built this). Reason being there are always going to be people willing to spend money on their wedding. Well, it got me thinking that recession proof is a pretty good goal to aim for when it comes to a product or service.

It forces you to focus on a certain niche, which if the niche is recession proof, is definitely a good thing.
