Replaceable is risky. Be useful and unique instead.

Be someone who gets chosen

Replaceable is replaceable. Replaceable is risky.

Schoolyard rugby. A team or B team. Size matters. To a degree.

A friend of mine never used to get picked. Until, that is, he worked hard on his technique. His defense became impenetrable. Small, but strong. Needless to say, he was never picked last again.

Quit being a jack of all trades, or a generalist. Don’t even aim for it. These roles make you much easier to become a simple cog, which for some is perfectly fine, but it shouldn’t be perfectly fine for you.

Replaceable is risky. If you’re not someone who gets chosen, become one. Useful and unique.
